Kidz Dreams was founded by Maria Carruthers and Inspired by Aaron, a child she worked with from the age of 12 until 17 years old.
Maria asked Aaron “If he had ONE WISH, what would he wish for?”
Aaron told Maria “It would be to go on holiday!”.
Her heart broke, as going on holiday is something we all do.
She said “yes”, not knowing how it would all work out, but here we are Kidz Dreams can come true!!
KIDZ DREAMS is an accepting Kids Support Group. Everything we do is founded in our core belief that no one should ever feel they are alone. We all have our own life’s journey, but the path shouldn’t be a lonely one. Our commitment is to provide a safe space for sharing, listening, learning, and supporting each other.
Kidz Dreams provides a caring, supportive and nurturing environment in which children/young people can feel secure and free from harm. Establishing positive relationships with young people and always offering them unconditional and positive regard.

Kids experience a vast array of feelings, just as adults do. They can feel bored, anxious, sad, disappointed, embarrassed, and scared—to name a few. While most of us experience any number of emotions from day to day, we are not necessarily taught how to deal with them. Kidz Dreams aims to provide children the toolkit to enable children to cope
Kidz Dreams tunes into children’s feelings, analysing body language, listening to what is being communicated and observing behaviour. Understanding what each child feels and why means we can help them identify, express and manage those feelings
The right socially interactive environment will help children develop strong language skills, creativity, social intelligence and confidence
